Our new candidate center is designed to help keep you up-to-date with the campaigns going on across the country. Click on your state of interest and you’ll find a list of candidates running for each federal office, a brief overview of the state, and specific information for campaigns of interest as it becomes available. Democrat Cindy Trigg is set to announce her candidacy for this district in the coming weeks, which gives the Democrats a strong candidate to make another challenge against Dean Heller. The last two election cycles have produced close races for this seat, and the results of the presidential race further shows that the district is firmly marginal. John McCain won the district by just 100 votes. In 2006, Democrat Tessa Haffen received more than 47% of the vote.
